Radar is a powerful new feature in Magnus that makes it easier for projects to manage and update their assets by automatically fetching information from your project's deployer address to find and recommend smart contract assets that are not yet part of any Bug Bounty Program or Audit Competition.
By using Radar within Magnus, projects can:
- Centralize asset management
- Seamlessly identify and add new assets to their BBP or AC
- Keep security programs updated with minimal manual effort
How to Set Up Radar
To set up radar, have your project owner or admin go to the Asset Management section in Magnus and click ‘Start’ in the Welcome to Radar section at the top of the page. This will initiate the set up wizard.
In the set up wizard, you will be asked to provide your smart contract deployer’s address. Once you have done so, you will start receiving Radar notification when new assets are detected.
How to Use Radar
Radar will notify the project owner or admin via email when new assets are detected. To access the asset recommendation, navigate to the Asset Management section in Magnus to view the list of recommended assets.
For each recommended asset, your project owner or admin will be given the option to Accept or Reject the recommendation. Accepting the asset will advance you to the next step and prompt you to add it to a service. Rejecting the asset will dismiss the proposal and it will not be recommended again.
When you accept an asset, you will be asked to add the asset to an existing Bug Bounty Program, or to create an Audit Competition.
If you choose to update a BBP, an update form will open with the selected assets pre-filled. If the BBP contains no smart contract impacts, the system will prompt you to input those impacts before submission.
If you choose to create an Audit Competition, an AC creation form will open with the selected assets pre-filled. If the AC contains no smart contract impacts, the system will prompt you to input those impacts before submission.
Please note that radar is not integrated with AC Conversion processes. If a recommended asset appears while an AC conversion is in progress, you will receive a notification suggesting you finish the AC conversion first before processing new assets through a BBP update.
