Skills Section
The Skills Section in an Immunefi security researcher profile is designed to highlight a researcher’s expertise based on past activity on the platform. This section includes Skill Tags and Highlight Cards, which are updated on a quarterly basis.
Skill Tags represent areas of expertise and are automatically assigned based on the security vulnerabilities a researcher has reported. These tags are categorized into four types:
- Product Type
- Ecosystem
- Asset Type
- Project Type
Highlight Cards are awarded for skill-based achievements (e.g., top X% in Y category), signifying notable contributions or expertise in specific areas. Each Highlight Card has a unique visual representation, with over 30 distinct images corresponding to different skill sets.
Skill Tag and Highlight Notifications
Skill Tags and Highlight Cards are valid for one quarter. They are reassessed and updated based on new vulnerability reports submitted during that period. When you’ve earned a new skill recognition, you will receive an email notifying you of the update.
Making Your Skills Section Publicly Visible
Researchers can choose to make their Skills Section public by sharing them on social media through their profile settings. Once shared, the Skills Section becomes visible on their profile.
Sharing Your Profile
There are two ways to share your profile, and it’s great to do both.
- Place your profile link in your Twitter bio, so you can get the Friends In High Places badge.
- Hit the ‘Share on X’ button to share your profile in tweet format.
