Users can now sign-up for an Immunefi account using Google. Existing users can also connect their Google account to their existing Immunefi account for a faster, simpler log-in experience.
Signing-Up for a new account with Google
To sign-up for a new account using Google, simply click the “Continue with Google” button on the sign-up page.
This will open a new window allowing you to select or enter the Google account that you wish to sign-up with. Once you have selected a Google account, you will see a modal asking you to confirm that you wish to share your Google email address with Immunefi.
After confirming, you will receive a generated username for your Immunefi account. As soon as you log-on to Immunefi, you will be given the option to change this username (you can also change it in your account settings).
Signing-On to an existing account with Google
To log-in to an existing account using Google, click the “Continue with Google” button on the log-in page.
Depending on the Google account you select, several results may occur:
- Selected Google account is an existing account and was signed-up via Google
If your email has been verified, you will successfully log-in. If it has not been verified, you will see a pop-up requesting you to verify the account.
- Selected Google account was not signed-up via Google:
If your email has been verified, it will connect to the Google Sign-on automatically without any additional steps. If it has not been verified, it will automatically be verified once you authenticate with Google.
- Selected Google account is no longer valid
You will receive an authentication error. This can happen when the administrator of a Google Workspace deletes a user’s account.
Note: If you Sign-On with Google, you will not be able to log-in using the traditional email/password method in the future. Instead, you will need to use Google Sign-On.
Requiring new users to sign up via Google
Program administrators can require new users to sign up via Google in the Organization settings. For detailed instructions on changing login preferences for your organization, see our Organizations help center article.
